Welcome to Relais & Châteaux Weeshuis Gouda (WSHS). We have lovingly restored this old orphanage from 1599 to offer you the ultimate WSHS experience.

As Chef, Remco Kuipers is responsible for, among other things, the kitchen of restaurant LIZZ. His years of experience in very refined, diverse cuisines, where he also achieved a Michelin star (in April 2023), will ensure that the dinners in our packages will be very refined and of a high culinary level.

We hebben alle activiteiten bij het Weeshuis gedaan. Beginnend met het first look moment, daarna een borrel en diner met de familie en 's avonds de ceremonie en het feest met al onze vrienden er nog bij. Een andere volgorde dan gebruikelijk, maar dat was voor het Weeshuis geen probleem. Er werd goed meegedacht en dat heeft geresulteerd in een sprookjesachtige dag (,nacht en ochtend) waar we van te voren op hoopten.
We hadden een geweldige huwelijksdag, met onze ceremonie in de Jeruzalemkapel, ceremonie in de Refter (WSHS), en diner en feest bij de Lichtfabriek. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd, zag er prachtig uit en onze gasten en wijzelf hebben enorm genoten.
Mooie authentieke locatie, prachtige details, veel zorg voor de ambience. Fantastische combinatie van midden in de stad zitten, maar toch heel rustig. Het eten was echt van een ander niveau. Fantastisch en verrassend menu, helemaal afgestemd op onze wensen. De service, zowel in de aanloop als op de dag zelf, was van zeer hoog niveau. Het WSHS zorgt ervoor dat je je als bruidspaar speciaal voelt.
Our celebration wedding was held at this hotel in August 2023, and everything was perfect and beautiful. It was a nice decision to choose this place for our wedding.
