Church, a unique wedding venue by the water in Friesland!
Located in the beautiful idyllic village of Terherne. It is a unique, romantic, and rural wedding venue suitable for small and large gatherings. The comfort of all-inclusive weddings will completely relieve you of the stress of organizing your marriage.
All-inclusive weddings mean that your wedding day is taken care of by us from start to finish. A spectacular arrival with a teak wedding boat at the Church, followed by the wedding ceremony. There will be a garden reception with high wine in the white blooming Church garden, a barge ride to the dinner and party location, a sparkling cocktail arrival, dining on the pier by the water, a covered terrace or conservatory. With plenty of accommodation options, you will create a wonderful wedding weekend that everyone will talk about for months.
The dinner and overnight stay in the romantic honeymoon suite take place at the characteristic hotel/restaurant ’t Schippershuis, located directly by the water.
When organizing your wedding, you only need to pay for the clothing, rings, hairdresser & makeup, photographer, printing, and municipal fees. The suppliers for catering, cake, flowers, music & lighting are already included, but bringing your own suppliers is definitely an option. Additionally, we offer various styling packages to make the venue even more festive and personal. In this way, we allow every couple to create their own desired style for their wedding day.
