Couwenhovezaal

At the window sections in the atmospheric Couwenhovezaal, it is clear that the city castle was once one of the fortifications of Utrecht: you can clearly see how thick the castle walls are. Embedded in the walls are cannonballs, as a reminder of the bombardments by the Spaniards in 1576. With its high ceiling and recent renovation, the room measuring 7 x 10 meters has a fresh look. This makes it suitable for a meeting, drinks, dinner, or a party.

Additionally, the hall can be combined with the Zoudenbalchzaal and Linteloo, allowing larger groups to enjoy drinks or a festive evening.
